FAQs

1. Why does my soy candle look frosty?

Frosting is a natural characteristic that’s unique to pure soy candles. It’s part of the soy experience! It is a way that you can always tell if your candle is really made with pure, all-natural soy wax.

2. How long do your candles last?

Our 8 oz candles will burn for about 40 hours.

3. Why does my candle have a rough top after burning?

The rough bumpy tops after burning a soy wax candle are cause when the hot wax cools and solidifies at an inconsistent rate. This is a feature of soy wax and will not affect the performance of your candle. You can use this feature as a way to show that the candle is made with an all natural soy wax.

4. Why is there a hole in my candle?

Sometimes in the manufacturing process, air can get trapped in the wax. After the wax cools and sets, the air works it way to the top and is released. However, if the surface of the candle sets before all of the air releases, it will get trapped in the candle, creating a void and causing the surface to collapse. Again this will not affect the performance of your candle, it’s just something that happens with soy wax because it is a natural material.
